EDIT : Satisfactory revamp. Will try it out a bit more. First impression is, that viability of S&S guards has gone up quite a few notches

The real victim of last friday is literally on it’s feet again. Another proof you can acomplish just about anything with brute force and some super glue. Like the well-known force , actually. Just stickier.

Now we can only hope that it’ll break the *right* legs….

The AoC expansion Rise of the Godslayer brought - besides a truly eyecandy enviroment - a good amount of grinding for lvl 80 characters. The most coveted unleash-your-inner-korean awards are the new mounts. People were walking around bleary eyed from grind, just to be able to show off with their new tiger, wolf or hyrkanian horse mount. Now leave it to FunCom to rattle their player base : with their last marketing action , they’re giving players that pay for one year in advance a new , unique mount - a white tiger (immediately dubbed “lolcat”). I have no idea if the stats or this one are so much worse than the regular Tamarin Tigers mount, but if I would spend months of my limited playtime grinding for it and then everyone with 100€ to spare would run aroun on a similar beast … well … do the math.

Btw, tried Cavern of Malice in Kara Korum last night. Getting repeatedly wtfpwned by two 14 years old anime girls does have a certain appeal to it :p

Getting truly bored with M$ mobile development ignorance. After a looong wait, they gave us this .

Well , #$%!#$ you and the platform you rode in. I’m starting to migrate my apps to a more friendly platform.

In my , almost a decade long online gaming history, I’ve played crapload of MMO’s. From want-to-be ones to the first true one - Anarchy Online. As far as MMO’s go , this was my first “love”.  After a few years there , me and a couple of friends became bored and went to a prolonged MMO hopping spree. Some we played together, some not.

The idea was to return to AO someday.  Every other ‘fling’ was a substitution for the ‘real thing’. Compared to , analyzed and in the end found inadequate and discarded - without fail.  After a while, I’ve reactivated my AO subscription. But as the saying goes, you cannot enter the same river twice.  The river is not the same , nor is the man. More MMO hopping followed, with a nagging suspicion that something is not right here.

Up untill I’ve stumbled upon an idea really unrelated to the subject at hand. But comparable in terms of the feelings. The idea was, that you don’t compare the games , but the ideal picture in your head of how you felt way-back-when. You forget the glitches, crashes,grinding,bugs & sometimes crappy community. And to an ideal - what real thing can contend supremacy ? Well, I know the answer.

This brought me to full stop in searching for the perfect stuff. There isn’t one out there. So I settled for a nice gritty , brutal bloody carnage of a game with added benefit of M rating - which is incidentally developed by the same company as Anarchy Online. So, that’s it. Paid for a year in advance and settled down.

I’ve been harped on and annoyed beyond human endurance to do engrish/klingon version of some posts. Have no idea why , because there really isn’t anything worthwhile there – at least not for general public. And I have hardly time to write two versions of it. So, I’m switching to EngRish for a while. Lets see how it goes.
